Davido received harsh criticism from Bashir Ahmad for promoting Salah, a song that mocks the worship of Muslims.
Twitter – One of the former servants of former President Muhammadu Buhari criticized the singer Davido and accused him of spreading insulting videos against Islam.
Bashir Ahmad explained that Muslims are some kind of people who respect their religion and also that of others, so they don’t play with their religion.
He stated this after Davido shared a short video of a song sung by @logosolori, as seen by Hausa one on Twitter.
What does the video contain?
In the video that we found on Davido’s page, some people were shown praying, and then they burst out dancing and singing, dressed like Muslims.
This incident attracted the attention of the public, because in Islam, there is no question of dancing in the mosque or at the place of prayer.
Therefore, Bashir Ahmad attracted Davido’s attention and explained to him the true meaning of Islam.

Bashir Ahmad’s message to Davido
“In Salah, Muslims meet our Lord, Allah, we show our love and respect to him and ask him and try to show our gratitude to him.
“The saying is that prayer brings a person closer; face to face with God. That is what we believe, and that is our faith. Please respect that.
“No Muslim would see that as something to be proud of or acceptable.”
