EFCC sued Stella Oduah in court over the five billion naira scam.
The Federal Anti-Corruption Commission (EFCC) has arraigned the former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, along with eight other persons before the Federal High Court in Abuja, on charges of money laundering.
The people were prosecuted on 25 charges including money laundering, collusion, and the use of an anonymous bank account in First Bank, where about five billion naira was found.

However, after reading to them the accusations of Oduah along with the other eight people including one of her former maids, they denied all the accusations made against them by the agency.
The judge of the court, Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered the office of the Attorney General to take over the jurisdiction of the EFCC.
Stella Oduah held the position of Minister of Aviation during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan between 2011 and 2014.
